As director over all of TASC’s Corrections Transitions Programs (CTP) across the state, Millicent Lewis-McCoy leads TASC’s services for individuals being released from identified Illinois Department of Corrections institutions.

Working in collaboration with state partners, a network of community-based service providers, and a team of local TASC administrators, Millicent develops and coordinates program services to ensure quality community reentry services for thousands of clients annually, in furtherance of restoring lives, improving health, reducing recidivism, and assuring accountability.  

Prior to joining TASC in 2018, Millicent’s extensive leadership experience included serving as deputy executive director for the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center and in program administration for the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice / Illinois Youth Center in Joliet, along with six years with private agencies funded through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Millicent earned her BS in law enforcement administration from Western Illinois University and her MS in criminal justice from Chicago State University, and she is a PhD candidate in business psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
