As administrator of TASC’s court services in Cook County, Angela Resto leads a team of 20 staff that provides assessment and specialized case management services for individuals at pretrial, court, and probation phases of justice involvement. These services, designed to divert people who have substance use disorders away from the justice system and into treatment and recovery in the community, are provided at criminal court locations and in communities across the county.  

A consistent advocate for individuals affected by substance use and/or justice system involvement, Angela has more than 20 years of combined experience at TASC. She was integral to TASC’s work for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s deferred prosecution and drug school programs, and to the implementation and expansion of these programs across the county.  

Angela also conducts presentations and trainings on criminal justice diversion, and has delivered testimony to the Cook County Board of Commissioners. She earned her BS in business management from National Louis University.
